Ausdance Victoria exists to support, enrich, advance and advocate dance in all its forms. Providing services, workshops, forums, advice, professional development and other activities to the industry, Ausdance Victoria aims to support the ongoing growth and expansion of the dynamic and vibrant dance sector that exists across Victoria today.

Ausdance Victoria Announces New Director & CEO

Ausdance Victoria, the peak body and voice for dance in Victoria, is delighted to announce the appointment of ANDY HOWITT as their new Director & CEO.

Andy comes to Ausdance Victoria with a wealth of experience in dance, most recently as Artistic Director of Citymoves Dance Agency in Aberdeen, Scotland. Prior to this, he was the Artistic Director at YDance (Scottish Youth Dance), working successfully in the position for 12 years. Andrew has also worked as Dance Director for TAG Theatre Company.

Andy will commence his position at Ausdance Victoria in late February 2013.

Ausdance skill set for Teaching Dance - Victoria 2013 

Interested in participating in the skill set in 2013?

We are currently taking Expressions of Interest from people who would like more information about enrolling in the program to take place in July 2013.

The Ausdance skill set for Teaching Dance covers a range of topics including class planning, alignment and technique, injury prevention and legal and ethical responsibilities.

It provides teachers with the necessary skills, information and resources to be safe, secure and confident in their own teaching practice and work environments.
